In NIAIÁ we study moral problems in relation to:

Current society, justice and institutional framework, education, economics, values, religion, coexistence, solidarity, economics, law, universality and relativism, the person as moral subject, responsibility…

The niaiá is one of the six orthodox doctrines darshana or (astika) Hindus.

nyāya, in Sanskrit IAST transliteration system.

Pronunciation: niaia.

Etymology: derived from the Sanskrit root Ni, meaning ‘lead’. The compound word ni-āia means re-incursion, rule, method and is often translated as syllogism and inference; by extension it applies to reason, logic or method leading to the human spirit in certain actions, particularly in the argument and dissent.
